“The first and simplest emotion which we discover in the human mind is curiosity.”
– Edmund Burke

Why be curious?

It is the power of questions to solve problems. Asking "Why did I learn to always do things this way?" can shine a light on how our earlier patterns and habits are no longer serving us here and now.

Asking "why?" takes courage, and sometimes requires support. It requires stepping out of the social paradigms and power dynamics in which we were brought up.

Until we understand why we do what we do and what that results in, we steer blindly into repeating problem cycles. Getting curious enables us to break those cycles, and to intentionally choose something different.

Why seek support?

Sometimes, life throws us a set-back. When this comes up, it’s natural for us to lose hope, or feel out of control. We lose our confidence. We want to withdraw and hide away.

For some of us, the conditions in our early years may make us feel like we never got the chance to find our feet in the first place.

Many people who find themselves stuck in these experiences turn to counselling or coaching for assistance.

Counselling and coaching can help you to work through:
